I appeal to all the people who really know their Ruger 22lr Semi - Autos

What is the most common and/or more rare crowns on the MKI's??? (49-82)

Some have a inward rounded/slanted crown and some with a flat straight crown end of the barrel.

Does anyone have records of what most were by date?

EX: 90% of all 1950's had the flat crown while 10 % had the slanted crown
OR Half/half of the 1957's etc.....

The flat muzzle crown started at about serial number 9103, somewhere between Aug. to Oct. of 1950. Chad should have this date nailed down.

Ruger went from the rounded crown to a flat crown on their "standard" .22 auto in October 1950. This occurred before the Mark I came out so all of those right through to todays production have the flat crown. I don't remember if the Hunter models have a different crown?
