Crazy real life motorcycle chase. Both riders have balls of steel or no sense of self preservation. Very dangerous riding. The first person view is from a police motorcycle. This looks like a video game but is real.

I watched it from the 10:00 mark. That cop was tenacious :shock: The bike he was chasing sounded great! :)

Very light traffic. Is that typical. I don't think it would have lasted that long here.

That was a bit of a wild ride alright. I have to praise that guy's passenger, for not choking the living crap out of him, more than a couple of times.Never felt the urge to risk a passenger's life. Pretty impressive skills all around.

Cholo: It looked like maybe, a big Weber hanging off the side of it, as he brake checked the cop and he shot past him. :wink:

I just might watch that one again! The comments said he was chasing a Harley V-Rod. There's no doubt he would have gotten away if not for the passenger. Oh, wait! On 2nd thought... :shock: Here's a still pic of the cop with the pelotas of steel:

Ahhh, yes he does! I admit it...I watched it a 2nd time. Kinda like taking a 2nd peek at Miss December :)

He was waiting on the guy. 2 bikes passed him and then a 3rd going pretty fast. The 1st time I watched it I thought he was going after the 3rd bike. I wish they translated the beginning where he was with the other moto cop, but I speak as much Swedish as I do Mandarin :mrgreen:

See if you can stop it at 15:07. That's an impressive chunk of suck, right there. It sure looks like a downdraft Weber to me. Moves right out, no matter what. I'd say hes probably done a couple more things to it too. Quick ride. 8)

OK, I watched the complete video. Well, I did fast forward in the first part while parked on side of the road. I could not stop watching. Nice views of that city.

I tried to watch it,,, but it kept buffering,,, so after the 16:00 mark or so,,, I quit. And I started a bit after 10:00. I saw the part where the cop went by him,, and then it was on all over again.
Light traffic,,, most of what I saw the traffic was flowing in the same direction, but the grass scenes early on were interesting.
To endanger an innocent passenger like that is totally stupid. If you wish to do stuff like that,,, do it alone.

I think as an LEO, once I had his tag number, I would have ceased pursuit. Gone to his home for the arrest! If I had been the passenger I would have bailed early on! Crazy man driving! Crazy cop following?

I'm sure she thought about it, but it must have crossed her mind that at those speeds she'd have gotten scraped up a bit :)

I agree with gramps. Now days it might take more than that in court though if they fight the ticket. I rode for roughly 30 years. One small disclaimer. Those camera`s do make it seem faster etc than it is sitting on the bike doing it, however I don't think we can count the laws broken and many other people put in grave danger.
When I first watched it I would have guessed it was around La cross Wisconsin along the Mississippi river or in Minnesota. The cop peering in the camera at the end looks exactly like a son in law of mine. I have rode hot bikes back in the 1960`s and 70`s. It`s easy to get carried away. I have myself. The bikes are a lot hotter now.
When you "get into it", say you are in heavy freeway traffic, you just tend to gun by a car when you see a opening, now you are going faster than traffic, then you see another opening, gun fast between the slower traffic etc and then find yourself doing maybe 40 mph faster than the traffic you are going through. Better hope someone don't open a door to get rid of his chaw!

I found myself leaning into the turns while I was watching it. LOL!

At one point the guy hops a six inch granite curb at a pretty sharp angle without even slowing down. Pretty amazing riding by both of them.

Although I'm not sure if the cop deserves a medal or a reprimand.

Having ridden road bikes for years and the last one being a ZRx1200R I kept thinking that someplace in this video, someone is going to have a very hard landing. After going down a couple of times on the road and realizing I have no sense of self control with the throttle when I am on a bike I finally sold the last one and now stick to riding my mule.
