Very nice. Looks like it has 3-dot sights like mine. Mine is parkerized and doesn't have the "Commander" hammer though.

I like it.

I really like the old-school bluing... that was the decision maker for me.

I can't wait to go to the range with my son so we can shoot our .45's together (I bought him a Mil-Spec). :)

Actually I traded a SBH Hunter for it, so it doesn't count as a "Christmas Gift" Gun.

I imagine it could become a nice 'base-gun' for some mods'... but I most likely will leave it stock 'cause it's cool just the way it is. 8)

I have a Trophy Match that is all tricked out and have been dying to find one just like that Knuckles! There are none to be found on the West side. Did you find yours locally?

Yep'... very local!... Dan from MI traded with me, he's only about 20-minutes from me. He got my Like New SBH Hunter .45Colt... a good trade!

Well if you feel the need to trade that Springer in for something else be sure to let me know! I would be all to happy to make a home for it.

10-4

Congratulations!

It is too bad Ruger hasn't jumped on the 1911 bandwagon. It would be nice to get an affordable made in USA 1911 from a company that really stands behind its products like Ruger. But you are right: can't wait for Ruger forever. Looks like it'll be a fun shooter.

Springfield Armory is as good or maybe even better than Ruger about standing behind their products. BUT not everything they do is made in the USA like Ruger products are.

OH! You are gonna hate that gun! Why don't you send it to me for proper disposal and wait for Ruger to make one :D Just kidding of course. A fine piece I daresay.
