I have been doing my own cooking for over one year now, and come to the conclusion that cooking and reloading share much the same principle. Now obviously measures are different, that is cooking is concerned with cups, teaspoons ans teablespons, whereas reloading utilizes grains.

But, in a way, both practices are alike, one must follow recipies and a definite order. In cooking, one does not cook the egg before breaking it, disregarding boiled eggs, of course; nor does one seat the bullet before priming the case or throwing the powder.

And there are mild recipies and hot recipies for both cooking and reloading. Sometimes one wants milder tablefare, and at others hot and spicey dinners. Same wikth reloading, mild target loads and hotter hunting/defense loads. And, both disicplines can prove disasterous if the rules are not followed.

But paying attention to what one is doing and sticking to the recipie yields satisfying results in either practice.

Though reloading is less fattening.
