I've read a lot about v-blocks and barrel drop lately and am fairly certain threaded barrels are beyond my gunsmithing abilities (at the moment anyways) but what about Volquartsen's cone bushing system? Seems like the best of both worlds to me: easy enough for a non-pro DIY gunsmith and extreme accuracy like you'd get from a threaded barrel.
Am I missing something here? Is it too good to be true? Their stainless steel receiver ain't cheap so I don't wanna blow a wad of cash and end up with just a little or no improvement.
