Computer glitch.

Of a sudden over the past few days my computer goes into reload as i am typing a response. I lose everything and must start over only to have a repeat.

Maddening!

Any thoughts?

In Windows you can run a scan to see if you have any malware. That would be a start.

Could be your power supply going bad. Do you mean the whole thing shuts down and reboots on it's own?

No it dos not shut down completely, it erases my quick reply draft and takes me back to the site I was using.

I just had a scan which indicated no malware.

Turn the computer off wait 30 seconds then turn on again. I use malware bytes, and CCLEANER both free on filehippo.com. Plus free AVAST. Good luck!

One other consideration: The size of your post.
Are you using the "quick reply"?
Those are made for much smaller posts than the "normal" ones.



Another thought: Cookies and History.
When was the last time you cleaned them out (NOT all cookies, just the
ones for sites you use very infrequently, or have only used once)?

Does the same thing happen if you simply use "POST REPLY" rather than "quick reply"?
