All work done by Dave Clements. Took about 8 months and he was great to work with. I wanted a better sight picture and some load flexibility, but really don't like the looks of the adjustable sight Bearcats.

Action job/tune up package
5.5 inch barrel
Dovetail front sight
Bowen extra length ERH
Belt mountain basepin
chambers honed
fitted blued 22 mag cylinder

I shot it at about 10 yards with standard 22LR and shorts, both hit POA/POI and the magnums shot about an inch different at 25 yards per Clements. I still need to make the grips, do some metal finish work (poorly done at the factory) and blacken the rear sight notch.

With both cylinders and grip blanks.

Built as a companion gun to my Gallagher 45 convertible. Since this is for my daughter I also wanted it to be the same size as mine because she doesn't like to have the "kid" or "girl" version of anything.

Dave does some nice work. The shopkeeper in the photo, http://www.rugerforum.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=240403 was machined to a 22WRM by him. As was said though it takes time. Be willing to wait.

Now that I like! Just something about that style grip - or the birdshead - that looks SOOO nice with the longer barrels. 8) 8) 8)
