My nominee is Bob Probert a real bad number in the annals of the NHL. Huge number of fights and penalties, never let a challenge go unanswered, and took on the baddest on the block. Also a bad guy off the ice in his youth but straightened out his yugo before dying young.

After he died about seven years ago he had his ashes scattered in the Red Wing penalty box!
