We hit the Menards Black Friday pandemonium event Friday morning. One of the items on my list was a 3-pack of Camillus lock-back folding knives. At $9.99 for a 3 pack, this was a good choice for a chore knife that could easily get lost or damaged.
"Good choice" is far below the after purchase rating. These are GOOD knives. Shaving sharp out of the package. Snug hinge point and solid back lock mechanism. Decent gripping surface on the plastic handle material. I'd give a "maybe OK" rating to the pocket clip but a PLUS 2 on the adequately sized lanyard hole.
Darn it, wish I'd have bought 2 packages. Kids and old men lose knives like ducks drop poop so having an adequate supply of replacements is a necessity.
