Changing front sight on Security Six

I have a great older security six stainless 4 inch that I'd like to upgrade. The front sight is a pinned black ramp. I'd like to replace it with a nice patridge sight ala the S&W M625. Does anyone know if a Smith patridge blade could be fitted to the Ruger? If not, any suggestions for a patridge for my SS? many thanks, izzy

My smith built a Patridge site for my S&W 625. He built it from standard stock and blued it. It did not appear to be a particularly difficult job and as I recall he charged $25 to build and mount it.
