Can anyone tell/give a link on how to change the main spring on a GP100?? I got a wolf spring kit.. Thanks for your time .

The instruction manual has disassembly/assembly instructions for the GP-100.

There is a mainspring and a trigger return / latch spring. Your kit should have reduced power springs for both.
The stock spring is 14lbs I think. You should have three reduced power mainsprings. (8, 10, and 12lbs) The middle one is 10lbs and is about as low as you want to go for reliability on the mainspring. The trigger/latch spring determines how strong the trigger re-set is.

There is also a video on the Ruger websight. Click Ruger tech tips.

A Big Thanks- It doesnt look to hard to do!

Jus keep all the strut & stirrup oriented correctly by puttin a mark on em , I use a black Sharpie !

While ya have it down the strut is a stamped peice 1 side will have ruff edge , now is a good time to smooth em off & the stirrup also .

For 100% reliability I recommend the 12# hammer spring .

Also, to compress the mainspring put on some safety glasses in case something flies off. Some suggest using a fork to compress the mainspring so you can remove the retaining cross pin beneath the stirrup. The strut slides between the fork tines.
