Most of my Rugers were the MK series .22 cal, of which I've got a few (don't we all). So I got the bug and just hadda have a New Model Bisely .45 and I love everything about it except for the front sight. Now understand, I'm up in years so the front sight just doesn't work for me. The rear and front seem to meld together due to color. Anyone out there changed their's with something with some color on it?

I just put fingernail polish on the front sights. Easy to remove the polish or change colors to one that best suits you.

A dab of white or high vis orange works well and you can find sight paint kits at most gun shops.

All the bright colors are more vivid if you use a flat white base coat under them.
Some guys like their front sight to look like a fishing lure.
White sights work for me as does red. Green is not good for me at all.

Mega Bass, what you need is a rear peep, ghost ring. I have installed 10 so far, 7/32 and 9/32 size. Shoot with both eyes open, From .22's - .45 C.
