For any of you that have the old type cell phone, save time, ignore this. :D

Those with a "smart phone", keep in mind that all of those ad's from the TV
stations about a "free download" of one of their apps; once you put ANY
of their apps on your phone, you just opened the barn door to having them
monitor anything/everything they choose. You have also "allowed" them to
add any other "apps" they want.

Phrased another way, once an "app" is installed, it is automatically
considered "trusted" and can do what ever it wants. Including adding other
apps. Least you say "I have to approve the change!", have you thought
about unscrupulous coders that phrase the request for approval in a way
that seems benign?

Your phone is an extension of your home computer, IF you use the cloud
or do any update/share of information between them.

On an IPhone you can go to the settings and specify which app has these privileges and which cannot. So a blanket statement like this isn't true for everyone.

Yes, you do have to watch what you download, and yes, the cloud isn't safe unless you have specific security protocols built into your firewall.

My take on all electronic devices is the same. Never trust anything.
If you use a cell phone at all, your movements are tracked, your texts are saved, your calls are logged, and your conversations are being recorded.
If you use a computer at home its the same. Anyone that thinks they have any form of digital privacy is simply fooling themselves.

Android phones do not have firewalls.

Just like my Linux computer has run for almost nine years without a firewall.

Winderz has/needs firewalls.

The Feds planned it out very well. They told everyone they had to have a cell phone to be safe. They also told everyone that their young kids need one also. Everyone knew what was happening but no one cared.
