Cell Phone Booster

I believe this might have been covered before. Can we update ? Have a metal roof house and shop, need a booster for acceptable connections. Which ones do yall recommend.

Something to boost the signal you could connect to your bag phone 20 years ago I think.

Boots the incoming and outgoing weak signal to allow better reception. I used to use one while in the oilfields. Doesn't always work because sometimes there is nothing to boost.

Now that phone providers are getting into satellites, cost should be coming down.

I am at the edge of civilization. Not too far from me, I know folks whose cellphones are too far from towers and just plain will not work. With the boosters, they are able to connect to distant towers and their phones become usable. I don't know much more than that, specifically, but I know they work.

Just Google "Cell Phone Boosters" you'll see there are a lot of different brands from inexpensive to very expensive.

I installed a Wilson webost home about 7 years ago. Went from just about no service at times to excellent service even in tourist season in north Idaho when thousands of extra people are overwhelming the limited cell towers to support everyone.
