Anybody have any experiences with the CCI subsonic segmented rounds when fired in a Single six & a MK? Do they shoot ok or does the velocity drop too much for them to work well? Do they make it through the forcing cone on a SS or does that mess them up?
I was thinking about ordering some to try out to replace the 60 gr subsonic Aquilas I have been using in my back yard for pest control. While they are pretty quiet, they like to punch through & continue on their way, which is not a good thing here.
Thanks

I can't get CCI's to load into my MKIII 22/45 magazine. I get about four or five rounds in and they start slipping out.

Well I can't understand why: They are a normal looking 40 grain bullet with normal size LR case. I have shot them thru my bolt action rifles without a glitch but haven't shot them in the pistols because of the lower velocities. Just trying to see if anyone has some experiences shooting them in the pistols. & if they could be used on varmints close up ( up to 25 yds)
