There is no best place, and you didn't specify soft for plinking, hard for hunting/defense, or roundnosed light bullets for cowboy competition, all of which make a difference.

Haven't yet used MT Bullet Works but I like Beartooth Bullets a lot!

Thanks for your help going to the gun show in Chantily VA today to see what they have last time I went I was not impressed with prices at all I will give it one more try this year

Depends on what I need and what I need it for. I get LBT's from Beartooth, Cast Performance, Oregon Trail and Hunters Supply actually has a very good 275gr design. For plinking/practice/general purpose use, I used to get them from a semi-local caster in Florida, Space Coast Bullets. Now I get them from a local caster Tennessee Valley that is only a half hour away. Or I use Oregon Trail, Hunters Supply, Leadhead's or swaged bullets from Speer and Hornady. Lots of good stuff out there!

Penn seem to be the best value. I love their .430" full wadcutters.

I have been shooting cast lead bullets since 1995. I have also been participating in SASS Cowboy Action Shooting since 1997. IMO, the very best cast bullets have always come from Oregon Trail Laser Cast for smokeless cartridge reloads. I have several Top Ten SASS Winter Range belt buckles.

My wife has a Long Range Rifle award from Winter Range using 30-30 cast lead bullets in that category.

Oregon Trail bullets - They are very good. That is all I use anymore for reloading for me and my wife.
