I've always done over the top with the exception of when you have a kitten in the house. Nothing like walking in the bathroom to find the whole roll of toilet paper unrolled onto the floor.

Been there.... I also had this happen. Charlie was about 5 months old at the time. Now he is about 22lbs.... He was on top of the sink wrapping himself up in the paper while trying to catch his tail....

I canceled Netflix and cable years ago. I bought a Streaming box at our State fair last year and can watch whatever I want, locals included. I pay for the internet and phone and that's it. Netflix does have some good stuff on it and great documentaries but I just never watched it and decided that the cost wasn't worth the rewards. As far as running away or not buying stuff from China, good luck. Soooo stop going to Walmart/Target/Lowes/Home Depot. Harbour Freight, etc, the list is long. I try to use Walmart for some food items but use local chains for most other food items. Its a tough road not buying non-American items, they are out there but not many choices so here we are. Make the most out of what we have do what ya can and move on.
