I just looked at the investor relations section of Netflix and I didn't see Obama listed as a Director. There are 13 people listed.
 
Netflix, Amazon, and on and on are some of those things in life you can cancel or partake in. Not always easy to do considering there are so many. From Airlines to ordering a pair of socks. The real Problem in America is the ability to actually Purchase a Congressman, Senator etc. And this is on both sides of the Political spectrum. When you have a Politician that will literally VOTE for a decision on Foreign Policy based on the fact that he is owned by major Contributor is nothing short of being a Traitor to the Country, the American public and the World. It is sickening to see how much of it is going on Right NOW. Just witnessed it and it is sickening.

I may have been mistaken about them being on the BOD, though they may have been in the past.
Regardless, they are hand in glove at Netflix, and are making millions of dollars for their "documentaries" and other productions. Just google "netflix and Obama". Plenty of links there to show just how much they are influencing programming. Here's one:

The Obama's are making money , good for them. They have a deal with Netflix .
I'm not aware of any of the programs they are involved with for Netflix and have no plans to learn about said programs.
 
The Obamas have remained in DC after leaving office for a reason. They're in charge of the Dem party, and all of it's underhanded shenanigans...They'll not be making one thin dime off of me EVER. Never had Netflix, and NEVER will. Far too much streaming content available for free, to justify paying for anything other than the device itself.

Well, you actually illustrate the path our money takes right into a liberal-socialist's back pocket, if we don't care enough to somehow manage to do without Netflix or other organizations that their ownership actively supports and promotes communism, then yes, we are paying for every nail in freedoms coffin.

You're not mistaken, you may have their exact relationship wrong, but they are in bed together. I remember as soon as I heard that I cancelled Netflix. I'm just sorry I can't re-cancel them every damn day.
 
If you're shocked that Netflix's co-founder is liberal, you've been hiding. Most you like in Hollywood are liberal. Most associated with every single TV show you stream are liberal. Most associated with every single streaming service you pay for? Liberal. Major networks? Liberal. "News" media? Liberal. You'd have to have a team of analysts to weed out the Liberal influence in your life.
I'm not sure HOW we got here, but there's the sad reality.
I've already banned Levi's, Nike, Target, Dick's, Disney, Bud-Lite (I don't drink beer anyway), and Carhartt from my world. I'm sure there are more I've walked away from.
ABSOLUTELY, remove those things in life that you disagree with but recognize that as hard as you try you won't get them all.
And how about China made goods?

They had that recent movie (doomsday scenario). Now we know where Julia Roberts, Kiefer Sunderland and surprisingly Kevin Bacon stand.

I would have been thoroughly embarrassed to have partaken in the movie let alone worried about the affect on my career.

I understand totally.

You know the system was being manipulated because how could an unknown Illinois low level politician become President (twice), become millionaires with multiple homes on a presidential salary. Same with the Clintons and Bidens.

Republican presidents had already made their money in previous/current businesses.
And notice how you don’t see them involved after there term. They go back to running their businesses. Just like the Founding Fathers designed it.
 
I did not realize it until later that the Airline I was flew on was supporting Liberals. I guess I should have just jumped out mid air. For sure, I would not have gotten to my destination for my job. What tell my boss that I refused to come to his meeting because I did not like the Airline? Boycotting every thing in day today activities is ridiculous. You would almost become insane trying to figure it out.
What I cannot for the life of me, is understand is the sickening and disgusting fact that people will vote for a man or woman that supports war, funded by a group of people that pay them to vote that way. They have no problem, no issue at all with sending our young military into harms way to feed their wallet or purse. AIPAC, SOROS and MIC are the scourge of Society and the People that take the money should be rounded up and put into Gitmo or sent to Venezuela. They are lower than the Illegal Immigrants and they sit right in Congress and we do nothing. How galling to see them stand and Cheer for a foreign President that wants us to sacrifice our Military for his war.
Some of the same People that will cancel Netflix, will vote and support some scum bag Politician that is lining his pocket and will cast a vote as he is told to by that dirty rotten Lobby Group.
 
i cancelled Netflix when they had an unannounced data breach, they denied it but they were the only ones with info of mine making charges all over the world.
 
I just try to live my life and be happy doing it. I'm not going to let them make me miserable by giving up everything that brings a little light in my life.

Giving up all these things may make some people proud and happy to think they are doing it but not me. I only have this one life to live and I'm not giving up the things that bring me a little joy just so I can go on some forum and brag about it.

You guys are free to do what makes you feel good and happy. I have nothing against you.

Well I’m reading this and wondering if I buy something, can I tell the sell how to spend his or her money? I pay the guy to mow my lawn. He’s friendly enough, I don’t know him, but I’m sure there’s something I wouldn’t like about how he spends his money.

I know I’m in the small group on this idea, but with Netflix, you pay for a service. I’m sure the waitress at the restaurant where I’m going for lunch today has a different life than I would like. Can I tell her to change?
 
I cancelled Netflix a while back. It was after they gave a so called comedienne a special. They called it her "Salute to Abortion". My thought at the time was they can say or stream whatever they like, I don't have to support it with my money. Why would I keep a service when I am dissatisfied with their content. I don't miss them.

No one has a gun in your back telling you what you have to watch on Netflix. You don't like it, don't' watch it.
 
Some great documentaries on Netflix. Most of us and read the book "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich." This documentary is fantastic. Some much information about the great Newsman that wrote the book and his life inside German for so many years, plus more. (William L. Shirer)
