I have to tell you, at first I thought this was a white woman that did this, and that hurt me almost as much as the cold cruelty of the act to begin with. Then I saw that it was a negro female, and then it honestly didn’t bother me as much, because it’s completely foolish to expect anything else from them.
Have I graduated to “ultra-racist” yet?
(or ultra-realist?)

Yes you have. Race has zero to do with this. Society's breakdown is the problem or maybe simple mental illness.

Pure psycho!

A waste of good O2.

A waste of a human body.

Pure evil.

All of these comments came to me immediately upon reading what she did.

I realized many years ago that there are a few, not a lot, of humans on this planet that are a total waste of the life force.
They should be put down for their own good as well as ours.... these are not your average or even professional criminal.... they are very few and far between.....
and has nothing to do with their political or religious leanings.... just plain evil.
Take 'em out back and put one bullet to the head.

How do you go from buying dog tags with your name and address, paying to have a chip implanted. Needing to take your dog with you on a trip.

To drowning it in a toilet?

It seems like such a desperate act, but the circumstances seem mundane, makes no sense. There were better options.

To think that any human being can kill a family pet and friend so they can board a plane is tough to wrap my head around.

A few years ago a (white) fellow here in south Florida was caught killing cats simply because he didn't like them, another time the son of the Chief of a native American tribe was caught after shooting dogs in a boarding kennel. It's not race, it's insanity.

What's become of some segments of humanity?

I agree with blume on most of his post, with one exception. Instead of a quick bullet to the head,, take her to a pool, explain to her that she will be drowned just like the way she treated the dog. Allow her the time to think about what happened,, and what's going to happen. Then,, start the process of submersion, remove her partially, and do it over & over again because we all know the dog probably fought a bit & came up for air a few times. Let her experience the same horror the dog suffered. Oh,, and make her "loving family" watch it happen. Let her hear their screams of horror,, as they watch her suffer.

Yes,, I have a very mean streak at times.

No, that don't make you a racist......When one studies criminal behavior, it's quite common to find that some tribes will engage in certain types of actions much more so than other tribes. That's just how it is.

Having a sense of justice is NOT the same as having a "very mean streak".

Many years ago while I was an officer in the military, a few of us were sitting around and talking about some of the hassles of moving every two or three years to new assignments, and particularly how challenging it was for those of us with pets. Going to Germany with my family, and not knowing what living arrangements I would have initially, I had to leave my dog with my brother and then pay a fortune to have her safely flown to us later (I never considered any other option, my dog was part of my family). And most of the group in this discussion had been through the same type experience at least once. But one individual, a Major (same rank that I was at the time) said having pets was no big deal. He said that when he arrived at our current assignment he went to the local pound and got two dogs because his kids wanted them. He said that when he next gets assigned he will take the dogs to the pound, and then get new ones when he is at the new assignment. He said, yes, the kids cried about losing their dogs, but they get over it and enjoy the new ones. He said he had been through this cycle a few times and it was not a big deal to him. I never could view this fellow officer in the same way that I had previous to this discussion. But at least he didn't kill the dogs directly.

Agree, but it’ll be tough to get the steam up for that… certainly worthwhile though.

And it won't bring the dog back. I'm with blume.

One of the reasons for punishment is to deter future crimes.

People need to know there is hell to pay for being that cruel.

Some people are lowlife scumbags and she is a good example. I know people who think animals are disposable items and want nothing to do with them.
My first wife had a friend who would get a kitten or puppy for her kids and keep it until the kids didn't pay attention to it anymore. She would get rid of the cat or dog and when the kids wanted another one she would go through the same routine.
When I worked at the college there were students who would get a cat or dog and abandon it at the end of the school year.
We have 3 very spoiled cats who are family members and better than a lot of people we know.
I hope this piece of human garbage is dealt with very harshly and never has a pet again.
