Callshot and SixShot inspired cooking!

Been awhile since I've been on here and was thinking about how to use my first Dutch Oven that I got for Christmas. Then, I remembered pictures and recipes seen on this great website. Many thanks to SixShot and CallShot for the inspiration!
Alas, my very first Peach Cobbler! Cheated though, did it in the oven. Tomorrow, roast on the coals!

Looks great. Nothing wrong with cooking in the oven. How did it taste? Steve

I was scared that I would mess up my new oven with all the sugar so used the old aluminum foil.
Callshot, it was great! Scoop of vanilla ice cream on top!

Looks good, sounds good. Gotta start getting some flavor in the seasoning of the cast iron, gives the food more character.

I made a mixed berry cobbler in my 10" cast iron skillet yesterday, but it didn't last long enough to make its picture.
