Looks like Bullitt has gotten to be a bit of a lap full. 
He looks calm and comfy. They know when they have it made. We have almost the same setup at our house. Including a way soft neck pillow. (With a Super Blackhawk on the side)Looks like Bullitt has gotten to be a bit of a lap full.
And a fat rescue cat.
I had a fine Bassett boy one time. He was a character! Had so much personality. I hope to have another one day. I have been trolling them on the internet.

Bullitt is a handsome boy! 
Every time I see a Bassett, I get a reality check- they are actually pretty good-sized dogs.
I tend to think of them as short-legged Beagles, until I see one again!
