Nice! I like it (and I'm a devoted Ford guy). Looks to be about the same color as my '79 F150.

Love your chevy! Had an Uncle and cousin that worked at the chevy truck plant in Flint Michigan back then. Probably saw it roll down the line!!

My dad had a 70 c10 longbed. Just your plain truck. Wish I still had it.
My 1977 K-20 was arguably the best/most useful vehicle I've owned. It got better after I swapped the OEM carb for a Holley with manual choke. 'Noise and flash' don't do anything for me these days--it's quiet power and economy of use. 
I'm currently getting both from a 2001 K-2500 w/6.0--no bells or whistles.

My dad bought a 1970 K20 new . That thing was rusting in less than 2 years old . It even had a process called " Ziebart " an undercoat process where they drilled holes and sprayed in the doors , rocket panels etc. He kept it until 1975 ,then bought a new GMC Sierra it lasted quite a bit longer till it rusted . After that he swore off GM and became a Ford man .

Some time in the last decade these got renamed squarebody. It's an '83-87 Chevy pick up to me, a cool one at that.
One of my friends has a 70 C10 and another has a 65 stepside 4x4, I’ve offered both of them $150 but so far they haven’t accepted the offers
Nice!....I'm a Chevy/GMC guy.....but for me it would need to be raised a bit and ride on mudders...

Nice truck. Ours never looked that nice after week one of having them! Grew up with Chevy/GMC trucks on the farm. We were the oddballs in the neighborhood running a 292 instead of a V8. Tough trucks but went through a couple of transmissions and even a transfer case pulling the cattle trailer and gravity boxes around.
I’ve owned several K10 trucks, back in the 90’s when they were throw-aways. I even bought a C10 from a dealership I worked at for $400 back in 2002. I drove it for a summer and then parted it out because I wanted the 350 for a Jeep swap. I wish I’d had the foresight to keep at least one of them. (Especially the 1978 short bed GMC High Sierra two tone blue.

Nice! I am going to get my dad's 1984 C10 2wd, bring it home, and see if it will start after sitting for 6 years. It has around 120,000 miles on it, I think. I am going to sell it to settle the estate.

I had an 1/2 ton 84 Silverado I special ordered from the factory. The biggest motor I could get at the time was a 305/4bbl so I added a granny four speed, dual tanks (needed them), and a posi trac rear end. Dealer was kinda like ........I don't know about this.
I had a love hate relationship with it for the next five years. The 305 was toast at 60K so we found a motor out of a 79 Corvette and put in it. Then I cracked the carrier housing in the rear end, and it constantly broke front shock mounts. I sold it to some guy who took it straight to Mexico. It's probably still running down there.
BTW: The Dealer fell in love with it when he drove it. The next time I went to the dealership there were four of them sitting on the lot.

Well, instead of offering $150 for both, maybe you should sweeten the pot, and try offering $100 each; a real C-note might be more than somebody can resist!
Bought my grandpas 1976 SWB when he passed away. Was just about done with all the upgrades when the new Edelbrock FI unit burst into flames when my wife started it one evening. Burnt up the truck, garage and almost cost us the entire house. The mechanic wanted to try the new unit and said if I bought it he would do the install no charge so we did the install. Big mistake!

I had a 98 F150 that burnt. About six months later Ford issued a recall and paid Farm Bureau the money back. At the time I would have rather still had my truck. They gave me $5500
Insurance only paid about 2/3s of my receipts because I didn’t update the appraisal after every little upgrade. Even my agent didn’t realize that needed to be done.

I mean $150 for a 50+ year old truck sounds reasonable… right? I know Toby only paid his dad $1 for the 70 C10 over 20 years ago, not sure what Mitchell paid for the 65 4x4 but it is restored now so it ought to be worth at least $150… I mean what are friends for, wouldn’t want some stranger trying to take advantage of them 
All that was left of it after the fire. $24K up in flames and smoke.
