BX-25 mag question

I have an account and don't see any way to find any information on my order online.

Ordered 1-14-13
Charged 2-12-13
Received NOT YET
Did you call Ruger? I sure would if they charged my card and I had no shipment two weeks later.

Yeah I know I should. They don't have very customer friendly hours for a workin' man (not a knock, just a fact). I need to make myself a note to call them during the day, during the week. I was just trying to be patient but this is a little silly now....something is wrong.

Cut and paste from ShopRuger.com (with personal info edited out):

Seems rather silly to spend several pages complaining about it when one phone call would suffice. Uh yeah, most businesses are open the same hours, staffed by "working men". I'm pretty sure Ruger ain't gonna steal your money.

I am a lot more worried about the  USPS  taking my stuff than Ruger taking my money but thanks for the helpful advice. If Ruger would have supplied a tracking number like most businesses I might have an idea where the stuff is. I am not the only one who made these five pages of posts but y'all knew that. :D Like I said, I was being a patient person during a hectic time for them. :)

Why would USPS take your stuff? They just deliver it.

Because the person that works for them that took it wanted it enough for himself? So you think Ruger heisted me? Really? If not, what is your idea?

Ordered a BX-25 from shop ruger.com on 1/11 and received an e-mail this afternoon telling me it shipped today.

I ordered mine on 1/18, maybe it won't be too much longer. I'll update when I get the "They have shipped" email.

I got the email today that my account was charged for the mags. I guess I'll have them next week.

The mags finally got here on 2-28.

Called them first thing this morning. Only took five calls, only because they didn't turn their phone tree on until four minutes after they are supposed to be open. ZERO hold time, fifth call was answered right away. They denied charging my card, said it was pending. Semantics I'm sure since my bank says I was charged 2-12. Anyway...the excuse was that they are having problems with their USPS system, asked if I would accept UPS. Sure, send it to me. I know some people hate UPS, no issues here. Wonder why they waited over three weeks with a shipping problem and never asked me but I guess they're really busy. Supposed to be here Friday. We'll see. Wonder how many other two month orders are sitting around because they have a USPS shipping issue and won't contact the buyer or update their online information?

Dunno, but I also ordered one of their paper catalogs about 10 days before I ordered the magazines. Haven't seen it yet.

Are panickers hoarding catalogs too?

CDNN has them for $29.99, according to their email ad I got this morning. You can order by calling 1-800-588-9500.

I called ShopRuger today and they told me that my payment was pending and the earlier charge I had seen was just a test. Supposedly, no other hangup and once my payment goes through, my order will ship. I didn't have to wait additional weeks to get my last order. Btw, my order was placed 1/17.

Regardless, I don't mean this as a complaint, but as an advisory to others that might be experiencing delays as to what might be holding things up.

Very similar to my situation in order time and response. Some people say be patient, some ask why did we wait so long to call. Neither matters really, huh?

Looks like I finally have a pending charge on my account (although not the first time for this order) from the order I placed on 1/17. Maybe I'll get my BX-25s soon!

Orders from Ruger are now taking about 6 to 8 weeks to fill....FYI...May be worth the wait if a national ban goes through....Order up!

I, too, decided to "order up" despite not really caring for the product. After all; if they ban them I can't change my mind and get 'em later.
Now I find myself hoping the order goes through and I actually DO get them...! Order was placed two-ish weeks ago....

I ordered 1 BX 25 on 1-21-13, received it today! Seems to fit my 40 year old gun very well.

After calling them Monday and finding out my eight or more week delay was because they had a problem with USPS Priority Mail (should have contacted me to tell me that IMO) and changing to UPS, got my stuff today. They sent a $10 gift certificate too. I'm happy.

Well things are looking up. My 1 Feb order for 5 BX-25 mags, has shown up on my credit card as pending. At least they haven't lost the order. Based on others experience, in a couple of weeks they should arrive. Ruger must be working some overtime as they were not there Sat night and showed up as pending on Sunday morning, which means the credit card was likely checked by Ruger on Sat based on what I have seen from other charges to the card.

I ordered 4 BX mags on December 25th and received a box in the mail Yesterday. They're getting some better shipments in from the suppliers now.

I also got the Magpul 30-rd mags last week (not from Ruger but).

I think we can safely say that the US ownership can over-run US manufacturing capacity for about 60 days, when panicked.
