Bumped into a Sr1911

Went in my Lgs for a pound of powder today and saw the elusive Sr1911 in all it's glory for 610.99 is that what they are supposed to go for?

Exactly, I would find the money. Actually that's what I did. Mine was $649.99 out the door plus taxes.

Rem R1 was $100 less.
Rock Isl. was $100 less than the Remmy.

Isn't the R1 more of a bare bones offering? It seems the SR1911 compares more to the R1 Enhanced as far as specs and features. How are the street prices on the R1 Enhanced if anyone knows?

Yes, that would be a really good price.

Best I saw, so far, was in South Carolina...selling for $588.00 (tax included)...out the door. A great price.
