Bolt stop for the 44 Carbine

Hey Guys. Me again with a question that I cant seem to get an answer for. We all know that you can buy an aftermarket bolt stop (recoil buffer) Ruger slap stopper.......you get the point, for the 10/22. There are literally dozens of companies that make that pin that Ruger sends to you made in metal. Why in Creation they put a metal pin in there so that you can beat hell out of your bolt and make that unique sound is beyond me. Ship the damn rifle with 2 or three rubbery pins like Volkswagen (I cant spell Vol Quart Sun) makes! Ruger!!! Im talking to you Mr Redbird. That I dont even know what kind of bird you are. Turkey Buzzard? Lord God? As we call em down here in the south.....of Macon. But do they. Hell I forgot my question. Let me read....oh yeah. Rubbery bolt stopper for the 44 carbine. Anyone make them? Id like to soften anything as repetitive as the motions this gun goes through. Ilover her too much. I really do. Thanks to anyone that can point me. Dont say Google bevause Google is a spy and i dont use search engines. Im tellin ya. Watch out for them boogers.

You didn't say which type of .44 carbine you have - the original or the later "Deerfield" with the rotary magazine.

It doesn't matter much, though...... as noted above, there is almost certainly no such thing for either type.

The Ruger Deerfield does have a hard rubber bolt stop/recoil buffer.

Aftermarket buffers are a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. If Ruger thought a 10/22 or 44 carbine needed a buffer they would have put one in it.

But hey, that's just my opinion.

Ooops.... guess my ignorance is showing. I knew the Deerfield was a mini 14 type action, but had no idea such a critter existed.

....... In addition, adding buffers to Minis appears to help lower group size somewhat. I use Wilson 1911 buffers (yes, 1911 pistol buffers) on the front gas pipe and rear on the recoil spring on my Mini-14 and besides quieting the 'ping', they, and the other tweaks I've done have produced a more accurate carbine........

Other tweaks, maybe, but it's hard to believe that buffers would have any effect on accuracy. The bolt doesn't even start to move until the bullet is past the gas block, and the bullet is most certainly out of the barrel before the bolt has moved its full travel to the rear, where the buffer would have an effect.
