Our dear friend & forum member Merril Werch stepped out into eternity this morning at 4AM. His sweet wife Theresa & daughter Heather were by his side. He suffered illness for sometime, bedfast. He was ready to go be with the Lord. I rejoice in that. God's Speed my friend.

Very sad to learn about this. Prayer for his family and friends. May they find peace, comfort, and strength.

I'll miss him. He always had interesting stories. Vaya con dios, Bogus Bill!

Oh shoot. I really liked him as well. I thought about him over Thanksgiving. We traded PM's occasionally. I really liked his view on life. RIP Bill...

Hi,

So sorry to hear this news. Bill fought a very valiant fight to stay with us as long as he could. Prayers go out for the family and friends that they may find the strength to carry on without him.

Thanks for all the stories and pictures over the years, Bill. May you now rest in peace.

My heart is heavy with the loss of yet another on this forum.

He is beyond prayers now, but I do pray for those family members left behind. He left his mark.

Sad to hear :( I liked Bogus and his stories; I'll miss him. He sure didn't waste a minute of his life.

Rest in Peace, Bogus Bill.

Wow. I have chills even saying this, but I was thinking about Bill just yesterday, and how I hadn't heard or seen anything from him for quite some time, as I lay awake last night before going to sleep. I even said a prayer for him, hoping he was resting comfortably.

I know that Bill is now sitting beside our Lord in Heaven, and I rejoice that his suffering on Earth is finally ended. Bill fought the good fight, and I know his heart was in the right place with God. I will miss him. God bless you Bill. I know he will!

Definitely one of the solid characters here! He will be missed. I will definitely offer up a silent toast and have a drink to our brother in arms!
