Was just across the border in N.Y. state picking up a lay away in one of my favorite gun shops. Saw a very nice blued Old Army with a nice, heavy leather holster for $395.00. Thought about it for a minute, but already have a Stainless old army and too many other guns laid away (S&W mod 38, S&W mod 29-5, Ruger three screw single six and Ruger Bisley 32 H&R). Reluctantly had to pass, in an ideal world I prefer blued to stainless, but in the case of black powder, guess SS is some additional protection. Still....it looked really nice.....Nah, let it go, Olevern.
