I have 2 non consecutive serial numbered guns. Both are unfired. I’m going to put them out for sale. What is an approximate value?

Will sight configuration will make a difference?
Do I remember some with fixed are more desirable?
Boxes?

They only made them in fixed sight.

New in Boxes with EVERYTHING, I have seen they can bring good money, but you need a big audience like GB. ~$1,500 +/- $250.

The reason I started this project, that is struggling to get finished….🙄
It currently is in the white. Considering Rust Brown rubbed out -vs- Blue
It started out a rust bucket with the last 1.5” of the barrel being really bad, thus I got it cheeeep.

Ruger actually did make a few adj. sight Old Army's with 5-1/2" barrel. A blue version and a stainless. Uncataloged and damn few!!! Actually made before the fixed sight Old Army's were ever released. Not sure what their thinking was.. maybe they made a few as concept guns for a gun with shorter barrel then scrapped the idea for a fixed sight gun? There aren't more than 2 or 3 known of each.

And I was right but can’t take credit for it since I was correct mostly by fluke/accident :ROFLMAO:

Yes, that will give you an idea of their worth. They are popular with the SASS black powder shooters. But not as popular as the Stainless ones. I would try and sell them as a pair since you need two for SASS.
Here are my two that started life as blued 7 1/2". They now have a few mods done to them :) :) :)

I have one (BP-5). Though, there is no barrel address. It letters as a BP-7.
