Just purchased a Blackhawk in .357 and I noticed when cocking the transfer bar comes up and does not clear i beloevebis cylinder pin. Catches just under it. Did some digging on the fix. Jusy wanted to check everyone to see if all agree. Pulling cylinder pin and cleaning to make sure it is seating properly, giving revolver good cleaning. Any other ideas or solutions be appreciated.

You have already given my go to first answer. Disassemble and clean thoroughly. This gives you a chance to inspect every part for damage and wear. If all looks good, reassemble and lubricate then check the operation. I've cleaned an amazing amount of junk of new in the box firearms.

The cylinder pin has a spring loaded pin in the end of it that pushes the transfer bar out so it doesn't rub against the firing pin. If not pressed all the way in, or if something is wrong with it, the transfer bar will do just as you described.
