Am I correct in saying that a Bisley hammer will fit a new model single-six? I really like the look, so I'm thinking of installing one in my single-six.

Absolutely! Just order the Bisley Single-Six model.

A pair of .32 H&R Mag. Single-Sixes with "owner" installed hammers. Some metal work is required.

Great lookin guns!! What exactly do you mean by "some metal work is required" though? I'm definitely no machinist...

He means you have to remove some of the hump on the lower part of the bisley hammer where it goes through the grip frame. You don't have to be a machinist to do it. It can be done with a dremel or even a file then finished with a fine file and emory cloth. You basically want the lower part of the bisley hammer to match the lower part of the hammer you already have on the gun.

I laid the old single six hammer on top of the new bisley single six hammer and used a mark to color in the section I needed to remove. I used my small bench grinder with some water to dip it in to keep it cooled off. Once the bulk was removed I used the dremel to to finish and polish it up.
