well i finaly gave up looking for a stainless gun and put a new blue 7.5 bisley on layaway today which will do everything i want it to i just would have prefered stainless . anyone know why the heck ruger droped the stainless?
 
It's still listed as a distributor model.

With Ruger pushing the 1 million, availability has bee kind of spotty. Still, they've been kind of available.

The blue is good, if a bit long from the box. Hope you got a good one John.
 
There are several on GB, with and without the ACP cylinder.

Yes the supply is dwindling, but they shure are not a hard to find item and the prices have not jumped because of any shortage.

I have owned a 7 1/2" Bisley in 45 LC for many years now. I have taken 9 deer with it. With 300gr CorBon or Grizzly or Doubletap ammo, it is a really powerful hunting handgun.
When I had to sell off my gun collection to pay for medical stuff, the Ruger Bisley is the one gun I kept and still have and will never get rid of.
With appropriate ammo I would not hesitate to travel remote Alaska or the African continent with it.
