There was quite a dustup during a biker gang summit meeting at the Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco, with 8 dead and 18 hospitalized. Unlike gang shootings elsewhere, all the casualties were bikers, including some shot by police. Amazingly enough, even with 200 bikers in the restaurant, there were still bystanders, none of whom were injured.

Been watching that... What a mess. Bandidos and Cossacks apparently along with other supporting groups. It'll be interesting to find out who started the shooting. Cops were on the scene before the gunfight broke out...

Buddy of mine in KC and I just had a conversation about how Bandidos and Mongols have made a big presence in KC region in a very short amount of time. Red & White HA loyal nomads and cause friendlys are pretty low key and staying out of this thing that is happening. My buddy says, it is all because of Sons of Anarchy wannabe club upstarts. I was on stage in KC one Sunday night at a Bues club and 20 Mongol patch Clay County Missouri members and prospects & hangarounds came in the bar, I had no idea there was such a thing.

We should take these SOA TV Biker wannabes and have them go fight some Muslims or "Next Generation" Cartel in Mexico. Those kids recently killed 20 Mexican cops, 8 Military personnel and shot down a heavily armed Mexican Army helicopter gunship, they don't get their guns from Eric Holder, they build them in their own factory.

Real life is starting to sound like Kurt Suttor wrote the script.

Many moons ago, knowing a real old school HA personally was not always a bad thing.
Not always a good thing, but definately not always a bad thing.

That all pretty crazy, all this time I thought the biker gang thing died out back in the 1970's.

Say What? Ya think if Open Carry had passed last session and a bunch of locals were open carrying at the counter and tables, these gang bangers would stay around? Nope I believe they would have moved their OK Corral moment to the nearest remote ranch.
Not going effect chances of Open Carry passing at all. BTW: typical motorcycle gang members have prior felonies, which would be illegal from the get go. These are not your white collar motorcycle club members.

I see that today they had arrested 192. That must have been fun going into that crowd after they had waged a gun-battle. No telling how many of those 192 were armed.

That was a true mess. The DA here and local LEOs had been warning management of the restaurant of possible problems but management wanted the customers and money so there had already been issues within the past month or so.

Well for a restaurant that is fairly base and obviously concerned only about money and not the safety is it's patrons, I hope the chain goes belly up.

Per Fox News,...

Sunday's melee at the Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco drew a broad police response that included placing officers atop buildings and highway overpasses to watch for other bikers rushing to the scene to retaliate.

Twin Peaks — a national chain that features waitresses in revealing uniforms — on Monday revoked the franchise rights to the restaurant, which opened in August. "We are in the people business and safety of the employees and guests in our restaurants is priority one." The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission on Monday issued a seven-day suspension of the restaurant's liquor license, but owners had the option of reopening to serve meals.

Waco Police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said authorities had received threats against law enforcement "throughout the night" from biker groups and stood ready to confront any more violence.

Real "gems" of society. Time to cleanse the gene pool....

The corporate office has supposed pulled the franchise here.

Hopefully that continues on up the tree. Bad PR has sunk many ships.

So far all you people know are the exaggerations of the press and the police and yourselves.
Most of the happenings are knee JERK reactions. Some of what I heard that at least four bikers have been shot by the police as said by the police coroner and then was stopped by one police officer.
Bikers as a rule never start trouble where they eat or meet. How did the police have so much time to place rifle men at so many locations so far apart. Even at Ferguson the march was peaceful until the police started it.

Did you hear that on TV?

I live right between Ocean Beach to the West and El Cajon to the East...anyone that thinks the 1%ers are not alive and well doesn't know the deal at all...Ocean Beach is a biker haven and El Cajon is the HA headquarters for the area...Their clubhouse is on El Cajon Blvd and that was the location of a huge bust after the Laughlin, Nv shootout and fight.

Anyone that is in this area soon learns that if you want to antagonize or fool with these folks you will have problems...on the other hand if you just mind your own business and keep out of things that don't concern you it's no problem..There was a HA hangout in El Cajon called Dumonts bar...it's closed now...it's about 2 doors from the HA club house and it was "their bar".

I don't drink so would have no interest in going there any way but I know several people that wanted to "go to Dumont's" to look around...that's not very good sense...that's looking to get into a mess.

Whatever issues the clubs have between themselves and if there are issues between them and the police..that's their deal. If I were in a casino in Nevada and saw 100 or so bikers from different clubs, wearing their colors all milling around one part of the casino...I think I'd be smart enough to not stand around and wonder what was going to happen...same thing in a bar /cafe that had a bunch of bikers inside and a whole lot more outside...not rocket science to know that's not a place to hang around or you might be in a mess.

Too bad these scum bags had to meet at a restaurant.

It's not like they meet at the local Applebee's or something, the place is a biker bar and grill where bikers hangout, from what I read the bar owner wanted them there.

This is going to be a huge mess figuring out who shot John. With over 200 bikers, how many non biker wittiness`s could have seen much individual actions in all that melee. How many of the 9 killed were shot by the cops? It has been admitted by the chief that his cops did shoot some but no idea of how many. So far I have heard figures of most often four, but also a couple reports of all of them! I find it interesting that no cop was shot. It was just on Fox that one old looking prisoner is a retired cop with 35 years as a detective. It is said by the wife of one that there are a number of bikers there that wasn't part of the clubs involved. Her husband had met up with a couple of friends and all were arrested. How accurately can this all be sorted out? There are more factors here than we can imagine. Waco aint the place to be for "Wacko`s".
On Feb. 28, 1993 federal agents clashed with David Koresh's Branch Davidian community near Waco, Texas. The standoff ended with a raid and fire that killed some 80 people. Gee, as big as this country is that`s one hell of a coincidence.

Whats bothering about the Wacko shooting is no video---yet. What stands out to me is the absence of even reporters not questioning about it. There MUST be video`s of it. Even police video`s. Trouble was expected. Swatt was hidden and standing by. A huge popular restaurant like that had to have cameras. Also on the parking lot. Cops wear camera`s. Nearby business`s have camera`s. People have cell phone camera`s. Every day on the news we see real time crimes video`ed in obscure locations.
Why not a peep of even inquire`s about it? Inquiring minds want to know.
