I like ole McGee and hear him on the radio sometimes but my only cassette players probably need new belts by now. He had a unique voice and teaching style. His insights were unlike others I've heard.

Dr. John Vernon McGee's voice was indeed unique. He was born in Hillsboro, Texas, in 1904. Dr. McGee once said , "When I was born and the doctor gave me the customary whack, my mother said that I let out a yell that could be heard on all four borders of Texas!"

I don't have a cassette player...but I do listen to Dr. McGee every weekday from 12:30pm-1:00pm on the "Through the Bible" broadcast.
