[Bad Barlow]

This outfit frequently offers small numbers of nice looking Custom Ruger single actions on GunBroker.
Has anyone acquired one of those,and are they as nice in person?
Just wondering...

They look nice, but don't seem to have a bunch of real custom work done to them. Spring swaps mostly, but they do a decent job of birdsheading the grip frames.

I communicated with them, and they do not do the birdsheading, I have inquired who does it, but have not heard back yet.

Bearhawk does not modify existing frames, they fit" new" rough birdshead frames

I think they're the ones who feel it's necessary to update their auctions right before they finish so you get an annoying email giving you a heads up that the auction is ending soon. I know it's a first world problem but I find it intrusive.

That was the one thing I thought would give them cred. Their listings only indicate items added like a SBH hammer, Wolff spring set, and custom grips. These are non-factory features, but I wouldn't consider them as custom guns.
