I've been thinking of buying a Bearcat for a while but haven't seen a lot around here. Last night I stopped at a local shop just to browse and spotted a new blue Bearcat for $312 plus tax. Seems cheap to me. What is the going price?

A lot more than that! My ss Bearcat was close to $500 three years ago. I would have ripped my pants reaching for my wallet. :D

I'd say $425 is about the average price for NIB Blued Bearcat, around here anyway.

Like SR-SP101 said, I would have bought it in a New York Minute. :)

Sure it wasn't used?

Well now...............This shop keeps guns in seperate areas, New in one section of display cases, used in their own section. There was no cyl. turn line or wear that I could see at all, and it was in the new gun section. It is 2011 production according to Ruger. But................I didn't ask if it was new, but wasn't marked as used on the hang tag either, as this shop does. Even if it is used it still seems cheap.
FWIW this shop had a SS Bearcat I briefly drooled over for $471 a month ago.

Sorry Mike. It is currently sentenced to a maximum sentence of 90 days in the local shops layaway dept. I have to see if I can scrape the dough to spring it out on an early release.
Funny thing is this shop is thought to have high prices. Maybe I'm just lucky.
