I am finding it difficult to see the front sight of my Bearcat. Does anyone make a replacement front sight? I'm guessing that a new sight would require silver soldering and rebluing. I've never seen a ramp type sight that could be drilled and tapped. I'd love to see the sight modifications that others have done.

Welcome to the Forum!
How about a little "color" on the front sight?
Take a bright color of your choice from a ladies nail polish selection. Clean & degrease the rear portion of the blade. Take a toothpick & apply a small amount of nail polish to the rear surface. If you like it,,, you are good to go. If not, nail polish remover will allow a quick & easy color change.

I've found it coems out brighter/clearer to use a base coat of white - or at least a close-to-white color as a first coat, and then put a color coat on top of that when dry.
I use oil based model paints.

I've seen some folks file the back of the front sight to that it is flat/undercut like a typical partridge type front sight instead of the "semi-circle" oon alot of fixed sight models, like the bearcat. That is a more "committed" conversion, but it seems that a larger, flatter surface would help too.

A super single six front sight screwed to a single six that had the 1/2 round front sight:
