I sent my New Model Bearcat back to Ruger a couple of weeks ago for repair. I bought it new and haven't shot much more than 50 rounds in the gun. The cylinder latch broke and the cylinder was freewheeling, with the hammer in the fired position. I received the gun back from Ruger today, and there is a yellow plastic device in the throats of 2 chambers of the cylinder and I am unable to remove the cylinder. I don't see any way I can remove this plastic device without removing the cylinder, and the plastic device prevents me from removing the cylinder! Has anyone else had this experience? I have no idea what the purpose of this plastic device could be. I tried to attach a photo of this fiasco, but was unsuccessful. Thoughts?
