Was at Bass Pro in Duluth MN this weekend. All Can primers federal etc. were still 8.50 to 9.00 A hundred. But... The Winchester WLP large pistol and also small pistol standard primers were 4 dollars and change don't remember exact amount. They didn't appear to be on sale either. Are we seeing a break that will eventually bring all primers back down? Powder was down to $45 to $65 per pound. It all needs to get down to $45 max in my opinion. Regular Remington Core lockd 30-06 150 yr deer bullets were $39 which is double what it should be. Glad I have many pounds of powder and primers stashed and best of all hundreds of pounds of lead and bullet molds.

Winchester primers on sale for $4.99, certain varieties only, per their website. All others $8 and up.

Winchester has been dropping prices to their distributors for going on two years now. I guess it's starting to show up on the retail market....but...do be aware that during this same time span, Winchester's QC has been dropping also, as-has their willingness to source bullets and loaded ammo from overseas and market it as theirs...So, buyer beware, that's what I'm getting at. You know, check the boxes close for obvious clues such as the familiar "made in usa" being absent.
