Banned from Facebook, again

Facebook just blocked me for 7 days because they said my posts violated their Far Left policies. All I did was copy and post some funny memes from another forum. The one that seemed to be "the straw that broke the camel's back" showed a line of KKK members in their robes and one man in regular clothing at the end of the line. The caption read "Imagine if you go to vote and you're the only Republican there". Facebook has no sense of humor. So I guess my followers (I have a few) will miss out on my humor for a week. The odd part is that I have openly commented or started posts accusing Facebook of being Far Left censors and that they cannot be trusted, and for those posts I received no action from the Facebook anonymous overlords.

What a stranglehold facebook has on its minions, getting banned again, but still going back for more. :?

I'll be the first to say I don't understand. My whole family, and nearly everyone I know, lives and breathes on facebook.

Recently over 500 million facebook users had their data compromised, including phone numbers, and birthdays.

They have been recently been sued for extremely and aggressively tracking their users.

They are responsible for assisting in many, many of the robo calls placed.

Why would anyone want a face book account?

Never using Facebook and not patronizing them is my badge of honor.

Add me to that club. As much as I hear about it and how people seem to be hooked on it, I never heard anything that would make me want to go there.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change.

Our church uses Facebook to broadcast Sunday services.
We have an anonymous account to log on to watch the service.
Certainly don't see any problems with that !!!

I don't see the need for anything that the world can see. If you know me you can pretty much know who "likes me" or doesn't. See no need so long as I can still write or phone.

First, let me say that I would be heartbroken if Facebook banned me..... of course, I would need to be on Facebook for that to happen, so I guess I'm safe.

I've never understood the attraction..... I can communicate with people all over the world by e-mail. I can send pictures, documents, links to websites....and it's all going to just who I want it to go to.It's private, and their response is private. What more does Facebook offer?

On a side note, I heard that Zuckerberg was incensed that somebody stole all that user data before he had a chance to sell it.

All that drama that 12 year old girls thrive on.

Actually, I have a 12 year old daughter and neither she, nor her friends at school like FaceBook. That age group considers it primarily for old people like grandma and grandpa.

I think a lot of them use Tic Toc, and Instagram. And yes, I know Instagram is owned by Facebook.

Also, last I heard, there are more dead people with Facebook accounts than living people.

I deleted my FB account three months ago, and I have survived remarkably well. The only issue I have is that if I try to view something on FB, they keep insisting that I either sign in or sign up. Many government agencies now publish nearly all of their information on FB; that's the ONLY reason that I try to view it.

you all know how socialism works in hand with communism right?
socialism identifies the ones on govt aid, trouble makers, losers, and opposition. then, the communists go and kill them.
and you still use facebook.... who somehow slipped and let out all the data on its members?
think it out.

I don't Facebook, Twitter or TikTok. As far as I'm concerned the whack jobs who run these "platforms" should be in prison for identity theft and fraud.

I never joined FB or any other social media platform. What I did on my summer vacation and my favorite pizza topping are my business and should be of no interest to anyone else anyway.

It is funny some people are against Facebook but they use other media to contact people, like this forum. It can be very good for some people and not so good for others. I can see where they don't like political stuff if it is offensive. Personally I don't need or want it, although I have thought of looking up some old friends that way. Maybe in the future I will join.

I am certainly the odd man out. As I said earlier, my entire family lives on facebook. Dozens and dozens of 'em.

For whatever reason, facebook has caused my family to be absolutely vicious with one another. I cannot over emphasize, truly vicious.

More power to them all if that's the new normal and accepted model.

It's just not for me.

Kinda like playing Monopoly with family

I remember those days well. But I was an enabler long before enabling was popular. If the folks I was playing against didn't have enough money to pay me their rent, I would cut them a deal.

I have *HAD* Facebook for many years. My account got hacked so I changed password. Within 1 day it got hacked again. Someone in Commifornia was using my email and kept changing the password. I gave up and won't go back. Also got my Amazon acct hacked (shut it down forever) and they kept trying. Have cancelled all online accounts and have given up on social media and online ordering. Will use other friends & family accounts if I need something that important.
Stay Strong my friends!

Facebook, what a joke. The deleted one of my postings on a Ruger lite because I used the word COLOR, that word was against their policy then they said I could dispute it I chose not to waste my time.

Been in the dog house with Facebook for ever! I file it with the who cares bin.
Can't Remember the the last time I logged in. ps

"Your Facebook suspension has been extended as part of our preparations for the presidential inauguration"

it was damn handy for Band promotions and grandkid pictures, but premptive censorship because I used the word "Tranny" instead of "Transgender" in a reference about Michelle Obama on top of 10 other suspensions in the last 3 years for either gun related subjects or my sense of humor about Democrat idiocy was the end.

No facebook anymore. But I've always transposed a couple digits in my phone number and used a fake birthdate on any site that isn't one that needs the right ones - like social security, banking or medical. I imagine there is somebody tired of getting spam calls for me.

I just got temporarily banned at a western history page on Facebook for a "post about modern politics". What it was was someone posted a picture of a hanging back in the 1890s and I commented "We never should have abandoned that method." <<<THAT is modern politics???

My wife registered for FB years ago at the behest of her cousins. After spending an hour looking at what those people were doing there, she said “nope”, and has never gone back again.

So much so that they can't resist going on other forums and brag about getting banned.
