Are Magazines interchangeable?

Are the magazines interchangeable between Mark I's and Mark III's?

Only if you remove the plastic spacer on the bottom of your Mark III's frame and install a Mark II style thumb-activated heel latch in its place. Then you can use any version of magazine in your Mark III as long as it has the follower button positioned on the left side. The newer model needs the locking bump on the right side of the magazine to latch it in place. You can use a 22/45 style mag in your Mark III if you install the proper magazine plastic bottom block because all 22/45's have the identical locking bump on the right side of the mag.
