Just looking for opinions and maybe pics of the Excalibur GP100- Super Redhawk grips. I have seen them on their website, but never hear much about these.

I thought about getting a set for my GP100 and maybe my SRH.

How do they compare to Badger grips?

Oh I have plenty of the Lett grips, and most of my GP's where them. They are the best grips out there, I just have a newer 6" blue full lug GP that I "worked" and wanted to give it a custom touch with some exotic wood grips. It currently wears Lett compact grips with Altamont rosewood inserts.

Cool.
Anything like this?

From what I've seen of the Excaliber grips, they are very good looking, but I would prefer them to be a matte finish, not all shiny as they show them. They are "grips", right? Not sliders, OK?

Here's the GP100 I was looking to put some exotic woods on :D

This is a slightly older pic, the GP now has a factory spurless DAO hammer..........don't ask me why, but I just love it on this gun. I added Wilson Combat springs and the action is like glass, and it has no problem popping any primer including CCI, so I plan to leave it as is. I have used this gun for CC in an IWB holster, but it's not really suited to that role! I like DAO revolvers, especially large frame revolvers with DAO hammers.

It has the plain Rosewood SP101 inserts in the Lett compact grip body. I picked up about 10 of the stripped rubber grip bodies and put them away for future purchases, those are my favorite "utility" grips for my GP100's since they fit my hands perfectly. The inserts look good, but would probably look better on either an SP101 or a 3" GP100, neither of which I have but will in the future.

I can't decide what front sight to leave on it either, right now it has a Marble's fiber optic Orange sight, but I'm not 100% sure I like the sight picture with the stock rear sight blade. I used a Dan Wesson rear sight roll pin, because the stock pin kept walking out, and I love it. Eventually all my adjustable sight GP100's will have roll pins. That pin ain't walking anywhere now!
