Any recent BlackHawk 357/9mm convertible owners here?

I just ordered a New Blackhawk 358/9mm and was wondering about the recent quality? Any issues? I have a 9mm Sp101 which I like but honestly I'm looking forward to a 9mm revolver that doesn't need moon clips. Any issues with accuracy shooting 9mm through a 357 barrel? Anything I need to look out for? Thanks

Actually in 357 shoots extremely mild. Wish I had bought a bigger bore. In 9mm shoots like a 22.cal.

And I firmly disagree.

Sounds confrontational, but that is not my intention.

I've owned so many Ruger products over many years. I've had a couple pigs, but Ruger has taken care of them. I've also had pigs from other brands. My most recent Ruger's, including recently made New Models, have been quite nice, both in finish, fit, and function.

No idea how old my .357/9mm 4 5/8" Blackhawk is other than it is a "New Model".
Works and shoot great.
Brand new ? too expensive for me at this point.

Here are my two convertibles, .357/9mm and .22wmr/.22 both excellent quality and both less than 3 years old bought new. I prefer the blued versions.

My 5 1/2" barreled .357/9mm medium frame flattop only had one problem.... The front sight fell off. Had my son drill and tap a hole in the barrel and screwed that baby down and no more problems.

Have several older Blackhawk convertibles some three screw and some new model in 357/9mm and .45 Colt/45acp. My newest is a stainless model in 40/10mm caliber, only complaint is the the grip fit, everything else is top notch.

And I know some folks have different experiences. Guess I've been lucky.

My newish 357/9 is as sweet a SA you could hope for, beautiful fit&finish, accurate...it's senseless to to spend more for an old model if all you want is a shooter, not a "collectible ".
