I have a Bullseye camera system. It was great. hey updated the app software and now it is near useless. (not just me, across the board issue) The mfr knows and doesn't care. They will sell you a new unit at a tiny discount. My question is can you undo a software update? (I'm thinking no) But could I wipe my phone and use an old backup to regain the old software? (I know that could create a whole new mess)

Have no idea what a bullseye camera stem is... but why not just delete the application on the phone and get rid of the camera system? I know it is a loss but sometimes that's the best answer.

Okay, I looked it up... I'd see if there is a way to like I said delete the update and just install the old program and then ignore the constant prompts to update.... but how to exactly do that I don't have a clue and I have an iPhone....

Have you talked to Apple? On my desk top computers,, System Restore would go back to a previous setting. It made my computers run better for me. And I know nothing about computers.

I know I can do that, and it would probably do exactly what I want. Except that means going back 18 months and a lot of other stuff will get reverted that I don't want reverted. As well as making sure anything I have added since then get remembered and stored some where else to add back in. App, pictures etc...

Step #1. Launch Settings app → Tap on General.
Step #2. Tap on iPhone Storage.
Step #3. Check for the iOS software version in the list and tap on it.
Step #4. Tap on Delete Update.
Step #5. Tap on Delete Update to confirm.

Just saw this, you are at the mercy of the app developer. Your only option is if you have another Apple device that doesn’t have the app updated on it. That being said, 14.7 just came out and 15 is in Beta so I would like to think the app developer will get it sorted out, it’s possible they’re trying to make it work on the Beta and that might have hurt functionality on the current IOS…trying to think positive.

That's my hope for an old backup from my phone. Otherwise it sounds like I have a nice looking brick.

A couple out of dozens of reviews since the update (1-31-20) from 3.39. They are now up to 4.7 with no useful changes for the older units. I've read the original owner is upset as part of the sale was to support older units. rumors of lawsuits blah, blah, blah.

Miserable software

I bought the Ammo Can LR about 2 1/2 years ago. It died and I called to see about support. No support available but they sold me a new Sniper Edition at 1/2 price. I got it a few days ago and tried to get it set up today. The camera works well and the picture is very good once I figured out how to get everything connected.

The app is miserable to use. It’s not been updated for the newer systems they sell so there is no support there. The previous version 3, I think, is what I had before was much better to use than this one. I couldn’t care less about target games or social media, I’d much rather have the ability to save images to my iPad, delete the target markers and remark them when my finger is not quite right initially marking them and I certainly don’t need some voice telling me where and how much to move my reticle adjustments.

I could go on but won’t. The app needs a lot of work to make it good.

New app is a disaster

I have owned the long range ammo can camera for several years. It did the job and the app was very basic. I use it to practice for service rifle completion. A few months ago the app on my tablet was upgraded. That was a terrible mistake. The new app is very frustrating to use. They have diminished the size of the target image that is displayed by adding useless side bar menus. Between that and the image is now even darker than it was before making it very hard to see the shots. The ability to drag the image has also been removed. It appears that whoever coded the app was not a shooter. I wish they would completely change the new app or put the old one back up for us to download. They have almost completely ruined my investment in their camera system.
