This one is a giant, sorry I couldn't get a better photo but I couldn't get close enough. Stay tuned I'll get him later. Dr.C

Now that is one nice Pronghorn Buck, length from skull to cutters is way longer than his big ole ears and it looks like he has some ivory fish hook tips going on. How far away was he from the camera?, heat wave interference is pretty strong

Don: It was quite hot today, this antelope is probably 300-400-yards away. He is truly one of the great ones. Dr.C

doc,
To take that kind of picture through that mirage at that range,, is amazing in its self!! Quality camera and a man who can use it!!

All your pictures are first rate,, but your Pronghorn pic's are my favorite.
Terry

PS; Any chance you might get to hunt that giant this season?

Terry, thanks again, yes I can hunt him. I would rather get a great photo of him though. He is in such a remote area that I didn't think there was a chance that any other hunters would seek him. Wrong, I showed a foto and wagged my tongue to the wrong guy once a couple of years ago and I spent the past 2 years "protecting " him from poachers, a couple of times with game warden in tow. Dr.C

Donny: 16" minimum but probably not over 18". Now his daddy who is really big but have not seen in a year would score in the 90's with a length of 18"+. Dr.C
