How common is a stainless Bisley Vaquero 45LC, 4-5/8" barrel (old style from 2002, not the "New Vaquero")? Anyone have one of these? How about an idea as to what one that is NIB is worth?

Check on gunbroker. I'd go around $500 out the door. 45 VAQUEROS are pretty common on auction sites; 357 or 44 less so. A Bisley is a less common than the XR3-red standard guns.

Another question from a rifle guy trying to learn-up on these revolvers...., if the frame is marked "Vaquero", does that automatically mean it's the larger frame version (vs frames marked "New Vaquero")? Any other visual indicators to look for? I'm looking at a KRBNV-44 4-5/8" .45LC that is only marked "Vaquero"....., judging by pics I find on the internet, looks to be a large frame and beefier cylinder?

If it's a .45 Colt gun marked "Vaquero," it is the large framed gun (i.e. same frame size and strength of any NM Blackhawk).

Original Size VAQUEROS (large frame) have a two digit prefix serial number.....5X-XXXXX.

NEW VAQUEROS have a three digit prefix....5XX-XXXXX. The standard guns have a distinctively different hammer shape.

RUGER is allegedly confusing the issue by marking some current NEW VAQUEROS simply as VAQUEROS....according to internet sources.

Thanks for the help guys, I'm pretty sure I know what it is now.

+1 but not alleged, verified fact (I guess you could say technically I'm just another internet source though :) ) - as mine and all I've heard of can attest New Vaquero .44 Specials have just "Vaquero" on the frame. Any other caliber, it'll say New Vaquero if it is the newer, smaller framed gun, and just Vaquero if it is the older/larger.
