One of a Kind 1956 Jerred engraving pattern sketch for Special Wm. Ruger Blackhawk for display at 1956 NRA Convention.
This unique detailed pattern sketch and notes was made by the engraver Charles Jerred. This is a working sketch and record of a beautiful gun he engraved on 3-9-56. The sketch is entitled "Ruger Blackhawk No. 3203" Sketch is in pencil, except for inked lines which represent gold inlay.
He notes "Gold rustic relief "R" on outside of frame- gold relief"Bear head on left side of frame. There are engraving notes plus the following: "This gun cut to special order for display at N.R.A. '56 Convention in Wash. D.C. for Wm. B. Ruger"
Letter of authenticity will be provided for the buyer
