Another 327 issue

Single seven with 7.5 inch barrel. Rear sight is cranked the entire way to the left but it still shoots to the right at 25 yards. Anything I can do or look for before calling Ruger and asking for a mailer?

And no, its not my shooting style as I have owned maybe a dozen Ruger single and double actions in the last 15 years and this is a first for me.

I had a new Marlin (Remlin) that was doing the same thing..
I sent it back and they said they re-cut the crown. It fixed the problem

They may have done more than that - like replaced the barrel.

If the crown is bad it will usually cause accuracy to go to hell. I am guessing either the barrel is screwed on crooked or the front sight is mounted off to the side.

Anytime you run into serious issues like this on a new Ruger revolver, call the New Hampshire service department and get a call tag to send it in and have them take care of it right then and there while it's still under warranty.

Ruger actually has no warranty. They do have a much better sense-of-humor about repairing problems with recently produced guns than the usual run-of-the-mill 30+ year old stuff I buy.

My 44 Special Bisley from Ruger had the front site pointing at about 11:30 instead of 12 noon. I called Ruger and they sent a call tag. The gun was back in under 2 weeks as good as new.

I've been a Ruger revolver dealer about 6 years now. They've gotten to know me well. If I get one in that was wrong from the factory they get it back, and they've fixed everything I've ever sent them and sent it back no charge regardless of whether it came from the 1970s or from a distributor the week before. Implied warranty or not, that's the best warranty in the trade, at least that I've seen.
