The story ain't over yet, but I reckon my wife and I have done a pretty good job of proving them wrong so far. Married 46 years today. :D

She still loves me in spite of my wicked ways. :)

Congratulations! Nobody thought my Mom and Dad would last, either - but here we are 51 years later and they still love each other. And the amazing thing after all those years is that they are still very different from each other. There's a big zone of commonality but there's also still a big difference between their personalities. Some people merge like that and tend to become less distinguishable over time but my parents, for better or for worse, are still very different people. And yeah, they each yell about it a little from time to time.

Happy Anniversary and may they keep coming.

Congratulations Gunny - to you AND your wife! :D
June 19th this year will mark 45 years for Mrs. Mtneer and me.

Congratulations!

Old Blister....er, My Sweet Bride,......was asking a while back about our own "42nd"......I told her it seemed like the best couple of years of my life.....that didn't go over like I had intended....
