pruger45,,, it's a well known fact I'm "the Barefoot man" in USPSA. I shoot & RO barefoot.
I will admit that 4 days of it this weekend on the gravel & shell casings did cause an issue. Not with my feet,,, but with my ankles. I have a "bad" leg & when I overwork it, I get swelling in my left ankle. It happened at the Area 6 match this past spring as well. My doctor told me this past spring that I may need to look at giving my ankle a rest by wearing a cushioned shoe of some type to prevent the swelling. I was a whipped puppy with a swollen left ankle by mid-day Sunday. My feet can handle the gravel, but the pounding of being the RO & chasing 250ish other shooters did affect me a bit.
Dern this getting old stuff.
Now, where that picture was taken, I had already taken some shots, reloaded & was hard charging towards another array of targets.
And Don,,, that's a S&W 646,,, 40 S&W cal revolver. Not an often seen gun as it was made in limited quantities. Titanium cylinder, and built with competition in mind as well as "lighter" carrying for CCW. It uses moon clips, and is a good one to shoot,,,,,, once I got the bugs worked out. I had a misfiring issue that plagued me a bit. The mainspring wasn't strong enough, and the adjusting screw wanted to back out a lot.
