This buck is really teasing me. I didn't hunt for a few days, then I was able to get back into the woods these past few.
With the weather front moving in, he came strolling through again this morning.
Miss Penny says he is going; Na-na, ha ha, you won't shoot me!
If he keeps it up, and the season gets close to ending, he'll be invited to dinner!

Hunting here on my farm has been abysmal!!! What with a dropped off dog killing at least 4 deer that I know of, I am only seeing one deer, a cripple doe that last Dec had her 2 fawns, and another 2 tagging along with her. We are not allowed to shoot bucks in my unit this year, and I and my neighbors wont shoot the cripple doe. Guess I need to go to one of our WMA's. They are rugged, and since I hunt alone, a tad bit fearful, since getting a pacemaker etc. The last deer I shot on my property before my cardiac issues, I had to get my Fire Chief and his SIL to come help me load it up on my truck. Still have til first week in Jan to hunt.
